Passing through the picturesque Buckinghamshire villages of Hambledon & Skirmett you find yourself meandering through winding leafy lanes up to Luxters Barn – such a beautiful setting.
The Wedding ceremony took place in the Marquee set in the very pretty gardens at Luxters. The reception was held in the amazing barn, decorated in masses of Gypsophila and the occasional white butterfly……magically simple and so effective.
Rachael’s bouquet consisted of a lovely dusky pink Rose called ‘Faith’, Ammi majus, Astrantia and of course lots of Gyp.
Her 4 Bridesmaids carried posies of Gyp, and the guys had buttonholes of Gyp.
The top table decoration reflected the flowers in Rachael’s bouquet and the guests table centres were in Gyp.
Rachael’s comment after the Wedding:-
‘I just wanted to send a message to thank you again for the lovely flowers. They looked stunning and you really did an amazing job, making them so personal to us, using the butterflies and colours we wanted!’
A beautiful bright sunny morning greeted us on Jessica & Michael’s Wedding Day.
The view from the clear panels inside the Marquee showed-off the spectacular grounds and gardens of the Abbey, which looked even more so bathed in glorious sunshine.
The Marquee looked stunning, with tall elegant Martini vases on each table filled with White Hydrangea, Gypsophila and a selection of Roses from Quicksand, Myllena Berg, Sweet Avalanche and Menta.
The lovely Jessica chose a Bouquet of White Avalanche, Myllena Berg and Menta Roses trimmed with Gyp.
Her 4 Bridesmaids carried Handtied Bouquets of All White Avalanche Roses & Gyp.
Comments from Jessica:-
‘Thank you so much for the amazing flowers for our Wedding. We’ve had nothing but compliments about how stunning they all were’

Ah! Our lovely Sunflowers Wedding!
Early on Saturday morning, putting the finishing touches to the arch of Sunflowers around the Church door was just the Perfect start to a Perfect Day.
The Marquee was set up in the fabulous grounds of the Chiltern Open Air Museum; what a great location for a rustic Country Wedding.
Jessica and all her Bridesmaids had Handtied Bouquets of Sunflowers and Gyp; the Men’s buttonholes were Sunflowers; the Church and the Marquee – Sunflowers……WOW!
Comment from the Bride’s Mother:-‘Dear Tricia I would like to say a huge Thank you for the wonderful flowers for Jessica & Shaun’s Wedding last Saturday, and for all your help and ideas beforehand. The flowers were perfect. We have received a lot of compliments particularly for the Church, with people queuing to have their photo taken in front of the Arch. Thank you again. Denise & Tim.
When Gloria, Janine’s mother, first called me she said ‘Janine loves foliage!’, that was my brief.
And so it was – I loved creating her Bouquet – big, wild with lots of different foliage and just a few Roses. The child Bridesmaid had a basket with a similar show of foliage and roses.
The reception was held in the gorgeous setting of Hampden House and each of the table centre decorations reflected the design of the bouquets.
Gloria called me on the Monday following the Wedding and left a message which was fabulous:-
‘the flowers were perfect and they had a “Perfect Day” ‘
A beautiful day dawned for Laura & Bill’s Wedding. The ceremony and reception was held in the Pavilion overlooking the River Thames; such a fabulous location.
Laura chose 5 Bridesmaids who were dressed in Navy & Pink, and they carried all Pink bouquets of Hydrangea and Sweet Avalanche Roses. Laura wore a traditional Ivory gown and her bouquet consisted of O’Hara and Sweet Avalanche Roses, Pale Pink Hydrangeas, Stephanotis and Jasmine.
From Lisa Hammond:
Hi Tricia I am the Sister and one of the Bridesmaids of Laura Hammond, who you supplied the flowers for on Saturday at Phyllis Court. Firstly may I say a massive thankyou on behalf of the family. The Flowers were simply stunning. Laura was totally thrilled with them!
I can see why she had total faith in you. Lisa
This smashing couple were married at Dorton House in July. The impressive house and grounds provided a beautiful setting for this very special day.
Victoria’s ‘wish’ list of flowers were: Peonies, Roses, Hydrangea and lots of Gyp! She had them all.
Congratulations ….Mr & Mrs Williams
Comments from Victoria & James:
Just a little note to say thank you for creating the Perfect Flowers for our Wedding Day. You took our ‘minimal ideas’ and created designs that were better than we ever could have hoped for. We are so glad we found you!
Best wishes …..Victoria & James
Wedding at Hampden House
When the Bride first contacted me to talk ‘flowers’ she had a very definite idea of the ‘look & feel’ she wanted for her Wedding flowers.
I so enjoyed working on her flowers as I knew she would absolutely love the selection of fabulous roses that I was able to source for her. This was probably my most favourite Bouquet of the year!
Comments from the Bride: ‘Hi Tricia ….a big thank you for our lovely flowers that you did for our Wedding. They were just what we wanted and attracted a great many compliments’
Lovely Tammy married Graig in Missenden Abbey on a hot summers day in June. Her bouquet of roses, peonies, sweet peas, hydrangea & astilbe was absolutely stunning. The ceremony took place in the Abbey’s garden room. The Wedding breakfast was held in the Marquee situated in the fabulous grounds of the Abbey. Tammy chose our Martini vases for her table centres; these were filled with peonies, hydrangea & roses………… perfect for the Marquee….tall and elegant.
Our Easter bride Roz, chose a lovely natural hand-tied bouquet, all white flowers, roses, tulips, hydrangea, wax flower & lots & lots of foliage.
The design of the bouquets for Roz’s bridesmaids reflected hers, but with a touch of blue, delphinium & forget-me-nots.
The happy couple were blessed with a beautiful day in the fabulous setting of Missenden Abbey. The ceremony was held in the garden room with the reception in the marquee in the grounds of the Abbey.
