I first met Emily & Kaine about a year ago and by mid-October 2017 we had all the details and wishes of this lovely couple.
The comment from the Wedding coordinator summed it up when I arrived with the flowers…..’Oh yes this is a classy Wedding’…..and it was! The Wedding was perfect…..it’s why I love my job…..dealing with smashing people and delivering their dreams.
Emily carried a hand-tied bouquet of White Hydrangea, Pink Astilbe, Pale Blue Oxypetalum and Gyp. The Bridesmaid’s wearing the most glamorous pale pink dresses had similar bouquets to the Bride but smaller. We must mention the Groom and his Groomsmen who looked very handsome in grey and pale blue.
The ceremony took place in the Abbey’s Garden Room which was full of White Hydrangea, Roses and lots of Gyp, including a bespoke Arch of ‘Just Gyp’…..it all looked so pretty. On the tables in the Abbey’s beautiful Marquee the couple chose the tall Martini Glass filled with White Hydrangea, Pink Avalanche & O’Hara Roses, Pink Astilbe, Gyp & Eucalyptus.
The finale was the magnificent 3 Tier Wedding Cake made by Tracey’s Cakes which we finished with a selection of fabulous Pink Roses and of course……Gyp.
The Dairy – Waddesdon
This was a delightful Wedding to work on with lovely soft shades of Lilac. I had a small swatch of fabric to work with and I’m happy to say we matched it exactly to the Rose (Ocean Song) and amongst other flowers, a very pretty Clematis.
Magdelena chose the Martini Vase design for the Table Centres. She had a great vision of how they were to look…..all ‘messy and wild’….OK I get it!
Here are some photos of the day, and as the Wedding Planner quoted:-
The Dairy Waddesdon
My initial meeting with Chantelle was at The Dairy some 10 months prior to her Wedding to Andrew. I felt that we ‘spoke’ the same language from the start, and I loved her vision of how she wanted her day to look. So over the months leading upto the Wedding we moved closer together, collating the minute details for the designs.
The Ceremony took place in the quadrangle of the Dairy garden on what proved to be one of the hottest days of a very hot summer,
The Wedding breakfast was in The Winter Garden room, and ‘Winter’ only by name as it was hot, hot, hot! However, Chantelle’s vision of fresh greens, reds & white paid off….see the photo’s…..it looks really cool, in every sense of the word. I’ll let the photos, Chantelle and her parents comments finish the story of this fabulous day.
‘Dear Tricia, Just quick line to thank you so much for the beautiful wedding flowers you provided for Chantelle and Andrew last Saturday. The decorations and bouquets were PERFECT!
Again, many thanks; Rosemary Willey’
Sunday 4th March 2018
Wow, what a great event!
Over 650 people visited the Wedding Inspiration show at Waddesdon Manor. Despite the efforts of the weather via ‘the Beast from the East’, the show went on. I saw many future Bride’s and Groom’s and discussed their plans and they viewed the many designs and options available to them from The Flower Room.
See below some of the designs at the show, and of course visit our Flower Room Photo Gallery on https://www.flower-room.co.uk/gallery/

Tricia – The Flower Room
Perfect Flowers for a Perfect Day
Passing through the picturesque Buckinghamshire villages of Hambledon & Skirmett you find yourself meandering through winding leafy lanes up to Luxters Barn – such a beautiful setting.
The Wedding ceremony took place in the Marquee set in the very pretty gardens at Luxters. The reception was held in the amazing barn, decorated in masses of Gypsophila and the occasional white butterfly……magically simple and so effective.
Rachael’s bouquet consisted of a lovely dusky pink Rose called ‘Faith’, Ammi majus, Astrantia and of course lots of Gyp.
Her 4 Bridesmaids carried posies of Gyp, and the guys had buttonholes of Gyp.
The top table decoration reflected the flowers in Rachael’s bouquet and the guests table centres were in Gyp.
Rachael’s comment after the Wedding:-
‘I just wanted to send a message to thank you again for the lovely flowers. They looked stunning and you really did an amazing job, making them so personal to us, using the butterflies and colours we wanted!’
A beautiful bright sunny morning greeted us on Jessica & Michael’s Wedding Day.
The view from the clear panels inside the Marquee showed-off the spectacular grounds and gardens of the Abbey, which looked even more so bathed in glorious sunshine.
The Marquee looked stunning, with tall elegant Martini vases on each table filled with White Hydrangea, Gypsophila and a selection of Roses from Quicksand, Myllena Berg, Sweet Avalanche and Menta.
The lovely Jessica chose a Bouquet of White Avalanche, Myllena Berg and Menta Roses trimmed with Gyp.
Her 4 Bridesmaids carried Handtied Bouquets of All White Avalanche Roses & Gyp.
Comments from Jessica:-
‘Thank you so much for the amazing flowers for our Wedding. We’ve had nothing but compliments about how stunning they all were’
St Peter & St Pauls Church, Great Missenden
Chiltern Open Air Museum
Ah! Our lovely Sunflowers Wedding!
Early on Saturday morning, putting the finishing touches to the arch of Sunflowers around the Church door was just the Perfect start to a Perfect Day.
The Marquee was set up in the fabulous grounds of the Chiltern Open Air Museum; what a great location for a rustic Country Wedding.
Jessica and all her Bridesmaids had Handtied Bouquets of Sunflowers and Gyp; the Men’s buttonholes were Sunflowers; the Church and the Marquee – Sunflowers……WOW!
Comment from the Bride’s Mother:-‘Dear Tricia I would like to say a huge Thank you for the wonderful flowers for Jessica & Shaun’s Wedding last Saturday, and for all your help and ideas beforehand. The flowers were perfect. We have received a lot of compliments particularly for the Church, with people queuing to have their photo taken in front of the Arch. Thank you again. Denise & Tim.
When Gloria, Janine’s mother, first called me she said ‘Janine loves foliage!’, that was my brief.
And so it was – I loved creating her Bouquet – big, wild with lots of different foliage and just a few Roses. The child Bridesmaid had a basket with a similar show of foliage and roses.
The reception was held in the gorgeous setting of Hampden House and each of the table centre decorations reflected the design of the bouquets.
Gloria called me on the Monday following the Wedding and left a message which was fabulous:-
‘the flowers were perfect and they had a “Perfect Day” ‘
